The way I see it, in the vernacular of artificial intelligence, my Midjourney profiles are custom latent spaces of images I have generated and loved. If an image is amazing enough to get me to spend the compute to upsize it, then I give it a heart. This has, over the years, taught Midjourney what I like, which is an indirect way of describing to the AI who I am as an artist.

With this prompt I have included the original creators profile ID and mine. What emerges then is a fusion of the latent space of the two of us but also the latent space of Midjourney’s LVM – Large Video Model.

I’m tempted to create an animation of a simple starter prompt, a cat wearing mirror sunglasses, my personal all-time favourite prompt, and then slowly add more profiles of the other artists in the Midjourney community. Generate, generate, generate.

I bet knitted together into a short video the suite of images would create something amazing.
